Although ECHA announced on December 16, 2024 that it plans to add six substances to the SVHC candidate list by January 2025, in reality, only five substances have been added in this official update. In the previous review of the six substances, it was clarified that "triphosphate (4-nonylphenyl, branched) ester" is an endocrine disruptor for the environment, whether it is the substance itself or when it contains ≥ 0.1% of "4-nonylphenol, branched and straight chain". Therefore, this time only the entry for the 21st batch of SVHC substances "tri (4-nonylphenol, branched and straight chain) hypophosphite (TNPP), containing ≥ 0.1% w/w of 4-nonylphenol, branched and straight chain (4-NP)" has been updated to "tri (4-nonylphenol, branched and straight chain) hypophosphite".
